H10 Ocean Dunas

Gem of a hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing. We were upgraded due to it being my wife's birthday to a junior suite,balloons , wine, and chocolates were put in our room as a surprise for my wife. The breakfast was nice and a good selection to choose from. The location of the hotel is ideal,close to the beach and main strip, yet peaceful and quiet. Pool is heated and there was never a rush for a sunbed as there are plenty to choose from all day. Rooms are cleaned every day. Thank you, H10 Ocean Dunas, for making our holiday special. we would highly recommend this hotel.

We're just back from our stay at the Ocean Dunas. It was our first time at this hotel and indeed Fuerteventura itself but we had stayed at an H10 in Lanzarote previously, which helped us decide on this place. It's an adults only hotel. We had an amazing time! The hotel's location is fantastic... Almost in the middle of the resort of Corralejo, just on a side road off the main strip but when you were in the hotel itself, you'd never know! A beautiful beach at the end of the road. Perfect! We had a standard room and it was a good size, clean and well appointed, with a decent sized balcony. We overlooked the main road and I was initially concerned about noise but with the windows all shut and the air-con on, you'd never know. It was in fact great fun sat on our balcony people watching at all times of the day and night! The hotel general décor was lovely... A sort of Mediterranean Ikea style, which I really liked. All of the staff were outstanding. From the warm welcome from the reception team, the hard working and friendly room service team to the exceptional restaurant/bar team, all of whom were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention must go to William, who looked after us particularly well and made sure my partner's gluten and dairy intolerances were well catered for. In terms of food, you couldn't really ask for more. A buffet breakfast, with plenty of choices of cold and hot options, no lunch service and a somewhat unique dinner service (well, first time I've experienced this at least!), with buffet style starters and puddings but an a la carte main course plus a daily special. A good twenty or so main dishes to chose from, all carefully allergy labelled to the delight of my partner. We did eat out a couple of times during our stay but this was no reflection at all on the hotel food. We just like to mix things up. All in all, this is a superb small hotel, and I think that it's the size of the place that made the difference. It was just super chilled and you felt special! The rooms were nice and clean. The daily fee of 2 Euro for the safe is ridiculous for a hotel you pay a lot for the room. The reception and the service in restaurant is great. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and everybody can find what he wants. The dinner was also good but it has 40 % pasta, 20 % risotto, 20 % meat and 20 % fish. Some is really good but you get bored and if we had a second week we would go somewhere else where they serve what the hotel doesn´t have like pizza or asian food. The terrible thing is that hotel are the bars where the made noise far after midnight, even Karaoke with screaming drunken people. The hotel is good but because of the pubs we would not book it again.
